Why Fresh Pine?
The idea for Fresh Pine Hauling came from tedious junk labor in our own homes. Understanding its not easy or comfortable to do on your own, we came up with a plan to service our neighbors with the daunting task that is clutter removal. We want your spaces to be beautiful and tidy, as if it's a home of our own.
Before & After
We don't just remove junk — we transform spaces.

Evan Smith
OwnerStudying LawHi, I'm Evan Smith, founder of Fresh Pine Hauling Co.
Growing up in Springville, I've always been someone who appreciated clean, organized spaces. Whether it was my childhood bedroom, my first car, or helping around the house, I found satisfaction in turning cluttered areas into places that felt fresh, functional, and inviting.
As I got older, I had the realization that this mindset could be a great use to others. I understood that life gets busy, clutter gets stacked and set aside, and junk piles up. Starting Fresh Pine Hauling Co. I came in with a simple goal: help people reclaim their spaces without the stress and hassle of doing it themselves.
When I'm not hauling, you can find me working at our local Central Bank, completing my law internship with the City of Springville, spending time outdoors (I love backpacking with my family), or working toward my long-term goal of becoming an attorney. No matter what I have on my plate, I plan to keep Fresh Pine rooted in the values it was built on: hard work, honesty, reliability, and treating every customer like family.
Thank you for supporting a local Utah County business. We look forward to helping you keep your space fresh.

McCray Barney
Co-OwnerStudying FinanceHi, I'm McCray Barney.
Evan and I have been best friends since the first grade. Growing up together, we've spent years working hard, learning with and from one another, and finding ways to help the people around us. When he started Fresh Pine Hauling Co., joining him was an easy decision because I believed in both the mission and the values behind it.
Outside of Fresh Pine, I work for Peterson Tree Care, where I've gained experience handling physically demanding jobs, working efficiently as part of a team, and never shying away from hard work. Those lessons have carried directly into the work we do here.
I'm currently studying finance in college and have a strong interest in business and entrepreneurship. I enjoy learning how successful companies are built and being part of a team that's working toward something bigger than itself.
A few of the best things from building a company up with a lifelong friend is seeing the genuine appreciation from the people we serve. Whether we're loading a trailer, meeting up with a customer or just planning for the future, I'm proud to be a part of something as special as this.
